Constellium hosts special event at its plant in Zilina, Slovakia
Constellium recently celebrated the start of production at its plant in Zilina, Slovakia.
The plant opened at the end of 2018 and has now been expanded from 5,200 to 15,000 m2 to accommodate new programmes to supply automakers’ assembly plants in Europe. By the end of 2019, Constellium expects to have 90 employees in Zilina. The Zilina plant produces aluminium Crash Management Systems (CMS) and other safety components for several automakers, using advanced techniques for forming, machining, welding and heat treatment, and also features a state-of-the-art quality lab.
