Gerald Mayer, CEO of Amag, said: “We see this success as an incentive to continue working on our performance, and consequently on developing our business relationship. Our joint projects for the next few years have already been set up.”
Amag and Airbus have been linked in a successful partnership since 2005. The largest multi-year supply contract ever concluded between Amag and Airbus was signed in July 2016. This contract relates to certified rolled products, which are deployed for the structure and outer body of all Airbus aircraft families, as well as Amag’s closer integration into the Airbus supply chain through joint recycling projects and initiatives aimed at boosting material efficiency.
