Training course: Introduction to Aluminium Metallurgy

The aim of the Introduction to Aluminium Metallurgy course is to provide delegates with a good basic knowledge of aluminium metallurgy. Although this course is pitched at an introductory level, delegates will find that the topics are explored in some depth. For example, the course spends 2.5 hours discussing thermal treatments.

Delegates will learn about aluminium microstructure, deformation and annealing mechanisms and thermal treatment. As well as metallurgy, the course also covers surface control and experimental techniques for problem solving.  In all, delegates will receive 10.5 hours of training in aluminium metallurgy from industry experts.

It is a 3 x 0.5-day training course from 13-15 April 2021 (13:00, UK time) and 22-24 June 2021 (09:00, UK time)

Training course: Aluminium Rolling Technology

The Aluminium Rolling Technology Course covers all the key aspects of hot and cold rolling of aluminium flat products. The Innoval team, who have a huge amount of industry experience, write and deliver the modules. They are very familiar with the day-to-day issues of a rolling plant and they have created this course to help you solve them. Many of the presentations are supplemented with hands-on workshop sessions.

Each delegate receives a 750-page reference manual containing the presentation and workshop material, as well as an electronic version on a USB stick.

The course takes place from 19-30 April 2021, (13:30 – 17:15, UK time)
