Very good quality for plasma cutting in aluminium
New Hi Finox cathodes from Kjellberg convince with long lifetime and very good cutting quality for plasma cutting in stainless steel and aluminium.
Kjellberg Finsterwalde, Germany, has developed a new technology for plasma cutting of stainless steel and aluminum with significantly less dross and a very good cutting quality for plasma cutting in stainless steel and aluminium.
New Hi Finox cathodes for various plasma cutting systems
From now on, Kjellberg offers new Hi Finox cathodes for the plasma power sources Q, Smart Focus and Hi Focus. The cut quality shows in metallically bright cut surfaces, narrow kerfs and significantly less dross. The cathodes can be used for stainless steel and alumnium from 1 to 6 mm.
High cut quality
Due to the new design of the cathodes, the optimised production process and the new technology that is applied for patent the lifetime of the cathodes is increased considerably – with a cutting current of 60 A by factor 5 to 10. The low backburn of the cathodes guarantees a consistently high cutting quality, which is shown in metallic blank surfaces with significantly less dross.
Range of application includes stainless steel and aluminum
From now on users benefit from the new cathodes E042, F042+ and G042+: They are the standard consumables for all present plasma power sources Q, Smart Focus and Hi Focus and can easily be used by applying the existing cutting data. The known prices remain unchanged.

The year 2023 has brought an exciting and promising activity to the Salico group of companies, in the field of aluminium strip process and finishing lines.
ASCM systems with climb milling technology allow deeper and narrower slots in anodes used in aluminium smelters, improving efficiency and mechanical behaviour.
